SWAN LAKE, THE LEGEND

KARLIK DANZA TEATRO and MORFEO TEATRO, in collaboration with Gloria Muñoz, bring to the stage, for the first time in a theatrical version and for family audiences, this universal classic, which tells the original tale of the legend of the swan princess that inspired Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake."

A fascinating show that also offers beautiful choreography that fuses classical and contemporary dance; and with the novelty of offering, also for the first time in theater, a stage aesthetic rendered in sand art, with stop-motion animated projections that give movement to the stage, creating surprising 3D-like moments that add a never-before-seen fantasy.

A unique and exciting production, where comedy plays a key role in the twists and turns of the story, presented in a spectacular large format and featuring a great cast of actors and dancers. A show of the highest quality, destined to captivate all audiences, including children.

The story tells of a kingdom once ruled by a sorcerer named Rotbart, who decided to ask the king and queen for the hand of their daughter, the beautiful Odette, but, shocked by his audacity, they refused. The sorcerer flew into a rage and cast a spell, transforming the princess into a swan by day and a woman by night. Her parents wept inconsolably for many years, forming a lake of tears, where Odette sadly spent her days until she found true love to break the spell...
