SYNOPSIS

Karlik Dance Theater, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the death of Spanish philosopher María Zambrano, revives the work "María Zambrano, the Dancing Word." After nearly half a century of exile, Spain recognized María Zambrano by awarding her the Prince of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities in 1981, and in 1988 she became the first woman to receive the Miguel de Cervantes Prize for Literature.

To pay tribute to María Zambrano as a woman, thinker, and creator through dancing words, images, metaphors, and symbols, from the perspective of poetic thought, the emergence of the feminine logos, the development of the essential human, transculturality, and universality.

María Zambrano will lead us into thinking from the depths of our hearts, from the will, from love, to understand that only new men can create a new society by making life the true work of art for every human being, destined to change history.

We live in a state of alert, feeling part of everything that happens, even if only as tiny actors in the plot of history and even in the plot of the lives of all people. It's not destiny, but simply community—coexistence—that we know surrounds us: we know we live with everyone who lives here, and even with those who have lived here before. The entire planet is our home.
